Shanghai Electric Group first compiled and disclosed its 2009 Social Responsibility Report in 2010, and has been issuing its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report annually since 2016. The group has now released its 14th consecutive Social Responsibility Report, which truthfully discloses the group's practices in fulfilling responsibilities to important stakeholders such as shareholders, customers, partners, employees, environment, and community, reflecting the group's ESG performance.
At Anwha, we are steadfast in our dedication to upholding the Social Responsibility Report of Shanghai Electric Group. In the year 2023, we presented our inaugural Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report for the year 2022.This report truthfully discloses Anwha‘s efforts and practices in areas such as green manufacturing solutions, exploration of new energy technologies, environmental protection, talent development, occupational health and safety, sustainable supply chains, compliance management, and social welfare. It reflects Anwha’s performance in fulfilling its ESG responsibilities.

Solar, wind, and tidal energies cannot achieve peak load regulation on a single energy source without energy storage. Energy storage technology will be one of the means for comprehensive regulation of energy, not just for energy reserves, and an effective way to improve production efficiency for new energy sources. AHW provides energy storage lithium battery assembly lines, including cell encapsulation, module assembly, assembly areas, and MES solutions for energy storage battery manufacturing.

Hydrogen energy is an important part of the future national energy system, a key direction in strategic emerging industries, and has risen to the level of national energy strategy. AHW provides a complete hydrogen fuel cell assembly and testing line, as well as the installation and system integration of equipment required for the entire manufacturing line, injecting strong momentum into the development of the hydrogen energy industry.

Anwha has obtained ISO14001 environmental management system certification. In accordance with the ISO14001 standard, corresponding document specifications have been formulated and implemented.
During business operations, the company attaches great importance to energy conservation, environmental protection, and pollution prevention. Talent cultivation is an important guarantee for Anwha’s sustainable development. Based on the company’s strategic development plan and annual work priorities, annual training needs are formulated, and the implementation and overall evaluation are organized.
Talent training includes new employee induction training, new manager training, mid-to-senior management training, technical upgrading training, and special job training, among others.
The company provides diversified benefits, including the five insurances and one fund, annual medical examinations, and for employees who have been working for three or five years, providing free annual medical checkups for one or two family members; for employees who frequently travel, providing travel subsidies for their families to visit them.
